Costa is a land & ocean restaurant offering the rich taste of Mediterranean cuisines inspired by the coastal region of Catalonian. Housed in the bustling Gunawarman neighborhood, the establishment opened its doors to the public on 3 February 2025. At the forefront, Chef Ryan Theja brings forward an innovative menu that highlights the vibrant flavors of mar i muntanya (re: the sea and the mountain).
In addition to emphasizing fresh, locally sourced ingredients and distinctive culinary artistry, Costa celebrates the rich Spanish culture where food becomes the epicenter of shared experiences. It is showcased through sharing-sized dishes such as “Botifarra Esparracada” (Catalan-style spread sausage) as an appetizer, main course like “Arroz Meloso” (Spanish creamy rice), and “Crème Catalana” for dessert, along with an extensive range of substantial protein portions.
The establishment takes pride in its carefully curated selection of regional wines. “There’s always a wine to accompany each dish,” said Chef Ryan Theja. “It complements the entire dining experience, bringing everything full circle.
